碳化硅材料具有以下優點:極高化學耐腐蝕性,高的機械強度,高熱導率,耐磨自潤性好,

適用生產各種機械密封環、軸承、軸套等摩擦材料。故廣泛用于石油化工、電力、

輕工、航天、汽車、造紙及污水處理等各工業領域。且與碳石墨配對，摩察系數小,

可用作高參數機械密封。

They have the property of excellent resistant-corrosion, high mechanical strength,high

thermal conductivity, good self-lubrication, used as seal face, bearings and tubes in

spacecraft, machinery, metallurgy, printing and dyeing, foodstuff , pharmaceutical,

auto industry and so on. When the sic faces are combined with graphite faces the

friction is the smallest and they can be made into mechanical seals which are able

to work in highest working requirements.
